Man, so you wrote that to the city, but sorry, the city can't afford you anymore.
Goodbye and good luck.
Let's get right back into the action.
It seems like this is a common theme with politicians where they get into office promising cuts and benefits for the little guy, and the little guy ends up getting screwed out of the transaction.
To your point, rich people could just get up and leave and go somewhere else, or they get tax cuts if you're part of the big beautiful bill.
But with New York specifically,
If somebody did pay into a pension and pension costs are ballooning to then say, sorry, we have to cut pensions.
That is a slap in the face of the person that paid into it voluntarily.
They didn't have it.
Same thing with Social Security.
You guys took it out of my check this entire time.
You told me I'll get it later.
And now the later comes and you're saying, sorry, we don't got it no more.
Yes.
And yet they do it anyway.
It's maddening.
A lot of people are saying that the reason why the young people are swinging to socialism, I joked around about it earlier, is they think that it's othering of economy.
I don't care that you're taxing billionaires.
I'm not a billionaire.
It's not going to impact me.
