All that travel was a total of 1,340 miles in a coach, 25 hours away.
plus of traveling 25 hours contrast that with hull hull had five games before they played us and every single one of them was home wow yeah
I was going to say, at one point he stood next to Connor Chaplin and it looked like those things you sometimes see on a Sunday morning, which is a dad taking his seven-year-old to the park.
Just hoof it into the stands, Adrian.
hang him out to dry too much but it was it was very frustrating infuriating I think was the word I used to you wasn't it in a brief message because it was another game that was there for the taking it was let's say we've done Hull then because we've got a lot to get into we've got to get into it's Birmingham isn't it sorry Blackburn and Swansea but I want to ask you about these changes to the
promotion playoff system whereby it's now the top eight the top two going forward automatically and then the sides finishing third fourth fifth sixth seventh and eighth they have this sort of complicated round robin of knockout games what do you think
The fans have to pay extra to watch play-offs.
It's complicated as well.
I nearly phoned the EFL this morning from Pompey Sound because we reported it exactly as Skybit wrote it up, which you would think would be a comprehensive explanation of it.
But what we couldn't get our head around is this.
Supposing you finish fifth...
You play in a one-off the team that finished eighth for a place in the semifinals.
Supposing the team that finished eighth beats the team that finished fifth, whether it's on penalties or full 90 minutes or whatever, okay?
Do they then go forward into the semifinals representing the fifth place or the sixth place because they finished eighth and the two other teams finished sixth and seventh
And again, if the team that finishes 7th beats the team that finishes 6th, what place in the semi-finals pair off are they given?
Did that make any sense?
Just hoped to be able to report it in full and have been unable to.
I've had to say we don't know how this works and nobody is publishing.
