The idea was that Jesus comes around as a kind of like evolution of these principles, like also as a kind of like God is like recognizing like that the whole flood thing wasn't maybe the best move.
And it was also a kind of like it lays out a really revolutionary, I think, a really revolutionary way to live in the world, which is meeting violence with nonviolence.
But it does disrupt the whole cycle.
The cycle depends on, you know.
