So this is over a 24-hour period.
This is January 25th.
They got 1,437 calls for service, 289 stranded motorists, 207 minor crashes, 30 injury crashes, and one fatality.
So with that 1,437, I pulled out six people that day.
So I would imagine that this number is much, much higher.
And how many vehicles are still sitting on the side of the road?
A bunch.
A bunch.
A bunch.
So especially with the cold weather that we got, right, we had, I mean, somewhere between 6 and 15 inches of snow, depending on where you were at in the metropolitan area.
Yep.
and uh single digit weather it does not take much to end up stranded on the side of the highway especially if you don't have the equipment you need so this is this is mostly just a safety thing is uh have a duffel bag full of some cold weather in a couple blankets in the car and honestly that storm we knew was coming at least a week ahead of time and there was no escaping this one
Which, did you know?
Not at all.
Did you see St.
Louis' post?
Yes.
Apparently, it got to the point, they had something like 15 down electric vehicles in the first five hours of the summer.
Because they just can't operate in those temperatures.
And you can't put them in neutral.
