I mean, best human as well, but in a baseball sense, best player I can be.
I think if I'm doing that, then I probably have things to offer in terms of talking to young guys and all that, but
ultimately, I really just feel like it's my responsibility to perform at the end of the day.
Yeah, I started doing that actually in spring training.
I got into spring and I was, frankly, my throwing wasn't very good.
I wasn't happy with it.
And I just felt like I was never behind the ball.
I was cutting and yanking stuff.
And, you know, I was really trying to focus on keeping my eyes on the target and making that sort of my main focus and not mechanics and anything else.
But I really just didn't like how the ball was coming out.
And I was visualizing one day.
And then later that night, it kind of just hit me to try that.
And, you know, I feel like
there's, you know, potentially some, some good logic to it where, you know, I feel like when my head turns facing the batter, uh, I feel like it's already sort of pulling me open where when I have my head perpendicular, I'm able to relax my upper body more.
And I feel like I'm able to rotate better.
Uh, and it's all, you know, it's kind of, it's all feel based and I don't really have a whole lot of science behind it, but
Uh, I just know that when I, when I did it in spring, I immediately gained some velocity and I felt like it was coming out better and the shape was better.
So, uh, I, I pretty much rolled with it.
So, you know, I mean, that's still something that's pretty new.
I mean, you know, historically in my career, it's, it's brand new.
