And I really am still learning it and still figuring it out.
You know, my experience so far has been that it's only helped me.
But if we get to a point where I feel like it is detrimental, which I don't think it's going to happen, but if that were to happen, I wouldn't mind cutting back.
But, you know, I think the more the merrier, really, when it comes to this.
I mean, I think that's a mindset thing, which my answer to that would be yes.
Now, realistically, and I was talking to Max about this, he thinks it takes three seasons to develop a pitch, and I kind of understand what he's saying.
It's one of those where I enjoy throwing it.
If they put it down, I'm never really timid to throw it.
There might be certain situations where I don't want to get beat with it or I really need a strike and it's my least concern.
feel least practice pitch so i maybe won't go to it but you know really i'm trying to treat it like every other pitch i have and and uh you know there's no better reps than in-game reps but i just have to i have to you know i have to really be strategic with it and not let it get me in bad counts or not let it be something that that beats me when i have you know potentially better options
I think, I mean, really, ultimately...
Uh, it's about executing pitches.
You know, that's all I've ever really focused on as a, as a big league pitcher.
Um, you know, I, I always try to learn from, from everybody.
So I don't know if he's a young guy or an older guy, you know, if they're, they're doing something well, if they have a pitch, I like if they, you know, I'm, I'm,
going to try to learn from them as much as they're hopefully going to try to learn from me.
I don't really look at it as an added pressure.
I really just feel like I have to do what I can to be the best player I can be.
