on the Ford Mondeo and that was taken away in case it was in a kind of a rubber case it's described as being to seal it I suppose from the weather yeah and they got plenty of evidence so that's when they start going into the evidence that they have against Sean McGovern from the motives of why Duckhead Kirwan was targeted you know the links to the
the Kinnan cartel with McGovern again.
And again, it was the trackers and the phones as well.
the device am I right to say was on his car from the 14th of October to the 3rd of November initially no yeah because he had this he actually had a oh he had a separate car BMX X2 which he traded in for the Ford Monteo he was killed in and so I mean and again so when the device went on it they had this I suppose this couple of days where they're trying to recover the GPS so you have Declan Brady and Sean McGovern driving by
The car where it's now in a yard in, I think it was A&E Car Sales was described as, and they're parking in a nearby Topaz garage and looking over the wall trying to figure out where the car is.
And eventually it goes to an auction house, Merlin in Nace.
And Jason Keating goes down on a scene kind of looking around at the, you know, all the different lots he's there with his young lady.
And he's seen near the BMW, as far as they can see, on the CCTV.
And then it sends a start fix and goes all the way back to Jason Keating's house.
So that's where he was able to retrieve the tracker and was put back on Noel Kirwan's car.
So there was a serious effort to keep track.
Now... And there's other senior members of the Kinnan OCG, as they call it, who are linked to that apartment as well through fingerprint evidence.
Now, they didn't name them, but obviously it's a hub, it's a base that they're using at this time when you're considered in the middle of this
war, this underworld gang war.
And one of the key things they found was that there was, again, this would have been from cell phone analysis of, you know, close to the scene that there were basically four mobile phones that they kind of linked that had a, you know, a purpose as such or a link to the murder.
Now, one of them was a completely innocent person.
And he was the owner of the shop that had sold these trackers.
And there was a number of short phone calls to that from a mobile phone that they now attribute to Sean McGovern.
And it was after that that the tracker went from sending a notice every four hours to every 30 seconds.
So this is where they were live tracking.
