mallet well obviously i'm in the market for a new putter i went to my local golf shop a b golf long crendon and checked some putters out and lo and behold there was that putter i put it down and i've got to say it looked and felt lovely i know it's um it's on it's on the short list for me so i can see why he was using it it did sit nicely it's made the nominees and then the winner will be read out and it'll be applauding politely as the actual putter goes up to be broken over eddie's knee on the stage

I'm glad we got him for as long as we did.

I'm glad we got him talking about the topics that I think he is quite well known for now and can offer so much insight on.

So many guys in golf and on tour were just delighted to see Chris Wood win.

It's a wonderful, redemptive story.

And I think he's back on the escalator upwards.

And I would love nothing better this time next year for us both to be playing on the DP World Tour and having a good time.

And not to mention Chris Lloyd on his bag, Lego Man from Bristol, stuck with him, been loyal this whole time.

Yeah, but I think what's exciting about players like Woody is in many respects now, the thing that's been holding him back, I think, is the anxiety part of the sport.

And if that can slowly be eroded away and removed, we're then going to start to see the best of Chris Wood come through.

And as you've just touched on, he was such a brilliant and he still is such a brilliant golfer to be like Danny Willett.

He's been a terrific player.
