There won't be much love lost between Spieth and Rahm, I wouldn't have thought.
And I don't suspect there'll be a lot of chat in the group across the two days.
Maybe a bit between Rory and John.
I suspect it'll be slow at times if you hold up, so there might be some conversations had.
But I agree, that's an interesting three ball.
That was the one that caught my eye.
certainly as it pertains to the personalities within the group.
I think it'll be an interesting week for Rory.
He mentioned in his interview the importance of iron play, or at least I think he did.
I've certainly seen it elsewhere mentioned.
That would suggest to me that's not playing into his strengths necessarily.
And that's what he found last Sunday at Quell Hollow comes to fruition and he takes that on for the next four days a la Yorav Prumlao.
But it's going to be interesting to see.
I think Scotty Scheffler, as I mentioned in the pod earlier on in the week, is the guy to beat.
And particularly as you look at this course set up, the importance of accurate iron play clearly is the theme of the week, along with a great short game and some good touch on the greens.
And Scotty Scheffler's got all of that.
So that was my feelings with it.
The thing with Tommy, and my only concern for Tommy in a major like this is that he maybe doesn't hit the ball far enough.
Tommy's not a long hitter.
