because I'm actually looking at other players looking at my own side of things I had a nice conversation with my playing partner actually a young Belgian lad come and spoke to me in the players lounge on Friday and said Matisse Beza Matisse Beza yes nice kid and a really good player and he just said he was very kind and said he thought I had a wonderful short game
And I just asked him what he liked about it.
And he told me, and I spoke about technique with him for two or three minutes.
You know, that's the kind of interaction that I like having with other players.
He just said, well, the way you chip left hand is fantastic.
He just liked the way the kind of club moved at the bottom of the ball.
And I spoke to him about the fish's tail, which is something that Graham Walker has taught me in the past.
which is just a little feel to imagine the right hand being a fish's tail and the head moves a lot more than the handle.
So that's what I spend a lot of my time thinking about when I'm chipping.
So yeah, it was just nice to have a conversation with another player like that.
Yeah, I am encouraged.
Yeah, my scoring average is good.
I mean, it's nearly below 70 now.
And I think if I keep going the way I'm going, I'll end the year with maybe my lowest ever stroke average.
So that would be a real sign, a positive sign.
The other thing that I noticed last week, that's the first time I've ever played around there using a driver.
And it's a tree-lined course.
And this is the other thing I've been thinking about.
The last three tournaments have all been tree-lined, and I've used Driver for two of them.
