Eventful hole.

I hit my tee shot in the right trees just through my driver.

And I shouldn't have done because it was really the only bad drive I hit all week with it.

But I was so frustrated and up it went into the trees.

I saw it get stuck up there and I just carried on marching down the fairway accepting that for the final two holes I'll need to hit my five wood or two iron and that'd be that.

And then I saw the video of some poor Spanish guy climbing the tree and dismounting in quite a erratic way.

And then I was really worried because you posted it on Instagram and I thought this is not a good look for a DP World Tour player.

Not a good look for the Tour generally.

So I'm half expecting the tournament director to call me today and issue me with a fine, which I'll of course pass on to you for making this public.

That's a very good point actually.

I should have, usually I run things past you.

Usually it's me that thinks about, you that thinks about the clerical things and me that doesn't.

He was on top of a buggy trying to retrieve my three-wood with a big stick on the Challenge Tour.
