That was actually a tough bunker shot.

I had to go over some trees and I just caught it a little bit heavy and it went in the trees.

So I think the fats, the one was fat on the 10th hole in my opening round.

But would you remember this?

If you played El Prat in 2015, the 10th holes are par three, sorry, par five up the hill, second shot.

And the green is so undulating back to front.

Back in 2015, the greens were firm.

I think ironically this time around with the green spin softer, it made the third shot more difficult because you would spin the ball off the front and to take, you had to hit uphill 10 yards off a downhill lie, trying to take spin off.

So taking one extra club, it was a very challenging shot to have to hit twice in the week.

I actually went for it the second shot and that was the right play.

If you could get up by the green, but yeah,

I think the best thing about last week was yesterday, and that was that I've basically stuck to the same kind of warm-up and things that I'm working on in my swing, whereas for much of the last two or three years, it's felt like I'm reinventing the wheel a number of times throughout the week, and then it becomes just chaotic.

That hasn't happened the last two weeks, and so after not hitting the ball so well on Saturday, I went back and I honed in on the two or three basic things in my warm-up on Sunday, hit the ball very well as a consequence, so

again woody will tell you when you've got that kind of linear relationship going um that's where good performance can come from unfortunately for me my putt has been cold for two straight weeks and if it hadn't been i would have had two top tens for sure but um well if i can keep doing what i'm doing it reminds me of what i was doing back in 2018 the last time i and 2022 actually i played well in 2022 where i was doing the same thing across a three or four month spell so there's some continuity there and that's what obviously breeds better performance yeah
