You know, it's the caddies too.
Has it been the case, Woody, that your resurgence is simply an example of going back down a couple of levels, discovering a bit of confidence, and then riding the wave back upwards?
Or is there something else that you've done in that interim period, whether it be technical, physical, mental even?
Talk us through that journey.
I think while we've got Woody here, Andrew, it would be remiss not to touch on the role of anxiety in golf because you've spoken about this, Woody.
And I, and I think you might be, unfortunately for you, I think you might be one of the greatest examples of the role of
The unfortunate and negative role that can play.
I mean, I've experienced it a bit with myself, with my own game, when I had some real struggles with the driver back in 2016 and ended up not using a driver for a couple of years just in an attempt to take away the sleepless nights that I was having because I would go to bed simply worrying about one or two tee shots that I was going to be confronted with the next day because I would look at, say, the 12th hole somewhere and know that's going to be in off the left.
Oh, what am I going to do?
And so that was the nature of my life for a while.
And I ended up losing my card.

For me, it was drinking alcohol and just, you know, making bad decisions.
And so I'm so fascinated.
And I think I would love you just to elaborate a little bit, if you don't mind, on the role that anxiety has played for you in the sport, because we see the Scottish Shefflers and the Rorys who are seemingly impervious to this stuff.
But I think you're a wonderful story.
anxiety when he enters the room yeah handshake those gloves on yeah and um i thought one thing that i found overcoming some of that for me and this is this emanated from a book that i once read i only i didn't get all the way through it was too heavy but it was called the master and his emissary by a guy called ian mcgillchrist who's a specialist on the brain and he talks about the two hemispheres the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere of the brain and obviously
If you're, you know, if you're the right side of the brain controls something very different, but it controls the left side of your body.
And I, I took the opposite approach in 2022.
I started playing golf with purely right side only feels, which was being controlled by the left side of the brain, which is more impulsive.
