She was, I suppose the reason that this story sort of hit headlines is, you know, the judge's comments, obviously Judge John Aylmer, who was sitting there in that court, he said, you know, this is your last chance, your final chance to clean your act up.
It's because it was heard that she has 66 previous convictions, many of which are for shoplifting.
It was said in court that she's a 35-year-old woman and it was said in court that
She has a four-month-old grandson that she's trying to change her life for.
She is a mother of three as well.
So I suppose she is trying to get help and her defence was saying she recognises the error of her ways.

I heard you say that, that's very, very young, 36 is really young.

She has done spells in jail now and then she's done, you know, a lot of community service as well.

Yeah.
But yeah, it's a difficult one to know how to answer though as well.

So if she's going into prison, is that going to, you know, is she better to try and stay out?
Maybe she has access to her grandchild.
Maybe that is the way for her to turn her life around.
