I think that these days can really, I wouldn't say make or break your relationship, but your partner really sees you in a way that, yeah,
you don't imagine.
And like, yes, we imagine we're going to have kids one day with the love of our life or with our partner, whoever it might be.
But we don't imagine what that actually looks like.
And when I looked at myself in the mirror in those early days, even in hospital with my nappy on, I'm like, wow, he has seen some shit, quite literally.
He had to change my nappy.
I couldn't bend over.
He had to help me like getting dressed and undressed, showering.
Like it is actually crazy.
It is actually crazy.
the way that that support person sees you.
It's really in the most vulnerable state.
But the nappies saved me because all I wore every day for about six weeks was my dressing gown and my nappies.
And that was all I had on.
So yes, nappies, top of the list.
Now the targeted ice packs.
These were really, really important for me.
I tried breastfeeding.
I didn't last, I mean, I lasted about just three months with a bit of mixed feeding, but my breasts were ridiculous.
And the only thing that suited them was the ice packs.
