I never thought I would, I'm not going to use the word hate because I feel like that's a very strong word, but I never thought I would dislike my very cute Pomeranian, but that's completely off topic.
So the sleeping setup, whether it's a bassinet, that is what I use, but I think, yes, having a solid sleeping setup or the snoo as well.
I know a lot of my girlfriends use the snoo.
Okay.
My last suggestions for the bub.
for postpartum if you're coming home, is the changing station setup.
That's something that I learned very quickly when I got home from hospital.
I ended up having an emergency C-section, the most traumatic experience of my entire life.
Birth, I think in general, whether you have a vaginal birth
or a C-section, even scheduled.
I think that birth is just like the craziest, quite scary.
Obviously it's the most beautiful and incredible experience in the same breath, but it really is quite traumatic and nothing really prepares you for when you get home.
And you like, for me, are recovering from a very unexpected turn of events.
And you walk in the house and you're like, wow, my bed's low.
My couch is low.
It looks great.
But it's really low.
And in hospital, everything is accommodated for you and like your recovery.
Like the height of the bed.
Who knew that like being able to get in and out of bed was so important for recovery?
