Obviously, in the same breath, I'm so grateful for my work and that I can work from my phone.
Like, I think that that's truly a fucking blessing.
But at the same time, I'm like, oh, my God, I just don't want her to, like, look at me being like, why is my mum on her phone?
Anyway.
So, yep, she'll watch me do a bit of work sometimes.
Usually by 7.30 we are, or 7.45, we're out the door and I get my long black with a dash of cold water.
I walk.
for about six or seven kilometers.
Whilst I'm walking, Pia is then usually having her first nap and I'm usually on the phone to my brother or my assistant and we are working, discussing whatever's happening on whatever business, whatever content, whatever podcast, whatever needs to be done.
I'm usually talking that walk.
Then I get home, Pia's wide awake because she's had her first nap.
And what does that first when I get home look like?
That's like, okay, let's entertain Pia.
And it's really hard.
Like, I don't know if like any other mums feel this way, but it's quite hard.
Like she doesn't love tummy time.
She really doesn't.
So I'm really struggling at the moment to kind of entertain her.
Like I read books to her and, you know, we do a lot of mirror time and there's a lot of time in the carrier where like we'll walk around the house and we'll do that.
But I'm kind of like, what more can I be doing with her?
