basically finance my research give me like a big upfront payment so i can that's the way to do it sustain myself and do it full time you're gonna give me a hundred thousand to a bunch of random chicks for a year because they didn't i mean what happened was i was how does this this starts with like i was working at yellow cab in san francisco right and i was dispatching taxis at night graveyard shift

And I was living in a little sunroom at an ocean beach.

I was hurt.

I couldn't skateboard anymore.

So I was trying to get back into surfing.

And there's a surf spot out there.

So I'm staying in this room.

I'm making $320 a week.

That's it.

I'm living in the most expensive city in the country.

But I'm not drinking and not smoking.

smoking like the five dollar pack of cigarettes or whatever like my expenses are very low i think i was getting food stamps too like didn't need a lot of money rents maybe 500 bucks a month but i'm living in like pretty much a closet right and um the girl i was dating she had a lot of money so she was picking up the the tab a lot like we went out to dinner she she would just be like tip the waitress all right she'd pay for dinner but uh so i was making it work but um

What ended up happening?

Oh, so we'd be out in North Beach or whatever, and we'd need to get back to the mission and not want to ride on the bus, so we'd take an Uber.

This is like when the ride shares are starting.

So we get an Uber, and I'm going to work dispatching taxis, and I can't get these assholes cab drivers to pick up somebody and get them to the airport on time.
