I think there's a level of enjoyment in pushing yourself and getting out the other side as well, or certainly a sense of joy and fulfillment.
Testing yourself or just like...
being in a position where you didn't imagine that possible and then it turns out to be possible.
I think there's like an amazing bit of magic in that, like for everyone in whatever chosen field that they're interested in.
Yeah, there's only so far you can imagine.
And then I guess when you're in the moment, like what you're capable of and what you're a part of can be far beyond that.

Like look, undeniably there's a sense of timing and luck involved in that, um, in terms of, you know, when opportunities pop up.

And I think in some respects, like particularly early in my career, I was in the right place at the right time, like on this precipice of women's sports starting to, to get, um,
bigger and grow and develop.
And I guess I was at a really young age at that point when that happened.
So my entry was probably into the top level of sport.
Certainly not as competitive as what it is now.
So I started earlier and I got to play two sports for a while, which I think...
As time's gone on and a lot of female sports is professionalised, it's probably not possible to play two.
When I first started playing in the Australian women's cricket team, all the players had a part-time job or a full-time job.
They had professions.
The captain of the Australian team worked for Australia Post when she wasn't at training or on tour.
