I was probably throwing tantrums because I couldn't hit the ball.
But yeah, it's kind of just evolved like that for me over a period of time.
It's probably, I guess, like I think about this now, like because I've been playing for quite a while, like it's why I love still playing because it just gives me this freedom of being in the moment that I guess in other parts of my life doesn't exist.
Internally?
Internally, yeah.
Not really because I kind of feel like β
I don't know, like, there's sort of, like, what's meant to be is meant to be.
And I don't mean that in a, like, flippant way, like, oh, like, if I get out.
You don't care, yeah.
No, but it's kind of like, like, I've got out for 99 before.
And in a way, it's, like, quite whimsical.
Like, it's funny because, I mean, 100 is a number that we've contrived to put a lot of, like,
Yeah.
That might not mean that you've had any real bearing on the game or contributed to the team just because you scored 100, but someone could score 16 and have a huge impact for the team and win a game.
It's all contextual, I guess, and derived from that.
So I guess often when I'm playing, you probably think about that more so, like what's my role here and what do I need to do?
For the game as opposed to... For yourself.
Yeah, it is.
Very much so.
And that's not to say that you don't think about it because you'd be lying if you didn't.
