I'm sure sports psych has got more sophisticated.
But, yeah, on a personal level, it's definitely changed as I've changed, um,
So that it's always kind of resonated with whatever space or period of my life or how I've been thinking has kind of been.
So like I remember with scoring the double century, literally the whole innings, I just said, watch the ball and make good decisions.
And that was kind of like, I didn't say that out loud.
I just said that in my head before every single ball.
And that seemed to just bring me straight back to the present.
Um, if I tried to say that to myself now, like I, it wouldn't have any resonance.
Um, but now I just take a really deep breath, um, and think about like a, like visualize a wave in my head, like washing away all my thoughts.
Yeah.
I love the ocean.
I love being near the surf.
Um, so I've just had this really strong image of a wave kind of taking away everything.
any distracting thoughts so that like I've just got like a blank mind to to focus on the present um but I think I've gone through like a whole raft of things and like yeah a lot of that stimulus just comes from reading something or listening to something or someone else speak or just something really ringing true at the time which I love like I love that that constantly evolves and that you learn new things and kind of like it reshapes your brain and how you kind of respond to things so um neurologically actually neurologically
Yeah, I guess so.
Yeah, yeah.
And I love the idea of the finger thing.
Anything that kind of can just draw you back to the present and has like a profound effect on that is really cool.
Parramatta Eels.
Yeah.
