So I wonder, is she correcting Democratic leadership?
Because we know that 85 percent of Democrats per CNN want the SAFE Act in place, want voter ID, because, yes, it is racist as hell to say that 20 million individuals will be disenfranchised, most of them black and people of color, because because you are asking for ID.
But no one seems to say that to Chuck Schumer.
And I think it underscores to me that there is nothing that compares to experience.
There's no kind of rally on Sixth Avenue and energy and amount of followers on your social media and your ideas.
And, you know, what you look like and all these things that I think often many of these Democratic officials have capitalized on and seized on, and they have confused it with actual capital.
They have confused it with actual credibility.
So what I saw there was essentially a TikTok influencer that got called out for being asked a substantive question that she failed on.
And unfortunately, and so dishearteningly, I think there's a lot of students out there that would have had a way better answer.
Just an average Joe would have had a way better answer than this person who represents millions of people right here in the state and likes to lecture me on the choices I make.
Rubio, in contrast, came up there in a great sort of one-two punch to Vance's speech earlier yesterday.
He articulated exactly why we need Europe and why they need us, why we prioritize ourselves and also our shared future.
I wonder what Whitmer's speech bubble of thoughts, by the way, was during that time.
