Why is it horrific?
What's the word?
So put off, whatever.
And in the 90s, it was apparently sharp but restrained.
And when people would say horrific things, they would be punished accordingly.
And power flowed through committee seniority.
It didn't flow through your media clips.
And then what happened?
Television, cameras.
And so all of a sudden, there was this slow shift where people started becoming theatrical.
And then what happened?
And that is when people became downright horrendous.
And it's all about rage fundraising.
And it's the theatrics of reclaiming my time.
And they're shouting and they're reading from their papers and they're talking over each other.
And they are being so beyond disrespectful.
The rhetoric to be patently unacceptable.
And it used to be, you know, you embarrass the institution and now it's, oh yeah, you owned the other side.
