He was arrested at the scene and booked into Hennepin County Jail on suspicion of third-degree assault, according to the Minnesota Star Tribune.

A neighbor, Brian Kelly, describing him to the New York Post as a, quote, pretty conservative guy who, quote, doesn't like Omar.

Kelly also telling the Post that Kazmirzak was involved in a past car accident that affected his spine, saying he is heavily medicated and not physically able to do much as a result.

According to Kelly, Kazmirzak asked him to watch his dog before attending the town hall, saying, quote, I'm going to this Omar thing.
