Okay, I'm gonna take a stab at it.

Yeah.

Probably because they haven't faced murder crime scenes in a very long time, or if at all, because I haven't been there, but you've been there, and it's kind of a boutique, charming little town, right?

They don't even have franchises there, if I'm remembering it.

They just want mom and pop places.

So they probably don't really come across a lot of crime like that.

So now you have a crime scene.

Well, what is a murder?

And the campus police probably don't even recognize it as a murder or treat it like a murder.

No, they don't.

They don't take it seriously at all.

Right.

Cause I've seen cases where they don't know if it's a murder or if it's an accident, but they treat it like a crime scene until they determine.

I just saw that last night when I was watching some, some true crime.

Well, what happens here is the campus police don't take it seriously.

Right.

They don't even contact her parents initially.

I think they contact them days later.

They don't search.

They don't do anything.
