That's Susan Cox Powell's family.
Father, mother, he became close with them because she had disappeared.
So the parents of the wife that was killed became friendly and friends with the Smart family.
Well, with the father, Ed Smart, right.
Yeah.
So Susan and Josh were both members of the LDS Church.
They met at a church function for single adults.
They were engaged just a couple months after meeting, and they got married back in 2001 when Susan was only 19 years old and Josh was 25 years old.
Okay, first of all, let me say...
Just a word of advice.
I remember my grandmother saying this to me when I was younger, that you should date someone in all four seasons before marrying them.
She only dated Josh for two months.
I don't think two months is enough time to really fully grasp someone's personality.
You should date them where you get to see all of their personalities.
