I mean, in what scenario would that have happened?

I think he had to have gone straight to the uncle immediately.

So the judge's ruling was basically a temporary ruling.

And I don't think this is what people understand because all the headlines are like, he's not detained, he's still free.

And then everyone's like, why is he, he's a rapist.

rapist and a murderer why is he allowed to be free right so basically what the judge said was he didn't know what to do with him because it's federal court so he asked the u.s marshal service if they could do some investigating to see if there are some type of adolescent facilities that are near tampa where his uncle is that could house him and detain him so basically it was a temporary ruling saying i need more information i need you guys to do some more investigation as to somewhere we can put him

And I'm sure he doesn't want to put him into an adult prison setting as a 16-year-old minor because I'm sure he's worried about his safety.

But then why not just detain him in an adult prison then?

Right.

So anyway, he is scheduled to go to trial in September of 2026, which is a very short time period.

So I have a feeling there's not going to be any detainment of him.

He's probably going to end up just staying with the uncle the entire time until his trial in September.

But we will definitely follow the trial and keep you guys up to date on that.

And if there's any other information that comes out about this case.

I would like to add it.

I mean, I feel like logistically it's getting a little difficult because it would have to be the Carnival Horizon cruise.

And if anyone has been on the Carnival Horizon lately, let me know what it's like.

And if we could figure out what room that they were in on that cruise ship, that would be interesting as well.
