Imagine taking your serrated spoon or your normal spoon, digging it into your kiwi and taking a bite.
And imagine taking a bite of the best kiwi you've ever had.
That is what a golden kiwi tastes like.
I didn't believe it, okay?
My dad started talking to me about golden kiwis a few months ago.
He was like, oh, have you tried golden kiwis?
And I kind of just didn't believe him, which is really rude in retrospect.
I couldn't imagine a kiwi would be like that good.
And I couldn't imagine how like different, you know, a different breed of kiwi could be.
I was like, I don't know.
Anyway, over the holidays, when I was home for Thanksgiving specifically, my dad was like, get into a golden kiwi.
And I was like, all right, sure.
I tried it and I was like, oh, I totally get it.
The flavor is just a little bit sweeter, but also just a little bit tarter.
That's not a word.
Than a regular kiwi.
It's like the flavors are turned up a notch.
But also the texture is better.
The texture is a bit less grainy.
Like a kiwi is often very, is a bit grainy.
