I mean, first of all, amazing that he said it and amazing that you listened.
I listened right away.
Because you can really hold onto those things.
I wasn't attached.

Good American was called Grace in the beginning.

And my wonderful partner was like, just, I love everything about this, but I don't like the name.
I was like, I'll find another name.
Just like, let's do this.
But as soon as they said that, did you agree?
Immediately.
Because to me, it was a working, I needed to create something and mock something up.
And that was just, it was a name that weirdly enough, we'd had another company.
And so I owned that name.
So I was like, I can legitimately, if I need to launch something, I can use this name.
And for whatever reason, it wasn't right for a denim company.
It feels like you're extremely resilient.
