And what we're seeing, there's a really amazing statistic that came across my desk the other day.
500,000 women have dropped out of the workforce since January in America.
500 000 citing difficulties that stem from covid that they've just you know work from home culture has really kind of like shifted the way that we all see work so i really honestly look at it and i'm like it really is career suicide not to mention what's happening in society marriage rates are down uh birth rates are down when you think about you know england has a loneliness epidemic
Of course, you don't meet people in your home, in your living room.
You have to go out and be in the world and be in people's faces.
And so I'm not sitting here saying I don't understand what benefits come with some flexibility in your work life.
Of course I do.
I'm a mum of four.
You have a doctor's appointment.
You have things that you need to do at the school.
None of us really work in those jobs anymore where you can't go and dip in and dip out and have an element of flexibility.
But if you think
that being at home is actually going to give you the same type of career and if you think that having like big ideas and big dreams and big ambition for yourself can be maximized working from home I'm telling you it cannot it's you're on a fool's errand and anyone who tells you any different it's just a liar and so you know it's like go go at me get get me online it's like I'm telling the truth and that's just that
And I employ hundreds and hundreds of women.
So I see it firsthand.
And I've questioned people in my office.
I'm like, why are you promoting another guy?
Well, because these three people aren't in the office.
Ah, why is that?
Well, actually, because they've taken advantage of what is given them to the office, a three or a four day work week.
