That's how it goes.
But you must have at the same time been like so, so happy.
I was scared.
You were scared.
So tell me, what did the business look like in the beginning?
Like, what did you do?
It's you and it's Dennis.
And talk to me about the product and how you started.
What wasn't good about it?
Because I feel like this is the trap that people walk into, right?
It's like somebody knows something you don't know and they can provide something that you desperately need and you're like, great, let's go.
But what did that look like when it went wrong?
Not sign that contract.
We would not need that building.
But isn't it so, it's so hard in the beginning because you're trying to find a trusted partner.
I mean, look, what I've done in the past and I've had good suppliers and vendors and bad supplier and vendors.
And I would say almost every business that I've had that's been successful has
has started with a vendor partnership, a supplying partnership that has just stood the test of time.
And it's so interesting because I remember it like it was yesterday with Good American and still to this day.
