I think 5,000 Scottish fans invaded Fenway Park last night because they were there for the World Cup, and I genuinely felt bad that they had to sit there and watch this Red Sox team.

Well, yeah, but I hope they get a discount on tickets because not a very good game, not a very good product at home in general.

I think most of Red Sox Nation is just feeling a lot of frustration because they did go through a soft rebuild.

It wasn't necessarily a full teardown, but

They were pretty bad for three straight years, and there was so much optimism going into last offseason.

You had Crochet pitching so well.

Anthony was coming through.

Meyer was coming through.

Campbell, he got sent down last year, but there was a hope that he would figure it out, and you had Alex Bregman, so as much pain as the Devors trade caused, you still had Alex Bregman, but we all know how that worked out, so I think

The focus of the frustration is just this team is not where it should be after going through such a lengthy rebuild.

And things are almost as bad as they were two to three years ago.

And obviously Alex Cora, a key cog of that coaching staff, has been let go.

And I don't think there's a lot of faith in Craig Breslow.
