And I thought I was going to die. That's what it felt like. And through that experience, I kept having more panic attacks and more episodes and more spirals of fear.

And so when I said yes to Jesus and when I started to walk correctly with God, I then had to confront this enemy, which was fear and how fear has been holding back a lot of the faith that the Lord has been wanting me to. to encounter.

And fear at the end of the day is one of the things that Satan will use to still kill and destroy the purposes and plans that God has orchestrated for his people. And when we talk about fear and faith, God has called us to live a life of faith. And I want to just kind of break down terms and definitions so we understand what fear is and so we also know what faith is.

So a lot of people will ask for faith and then they'll be put in a circumstance to where they have to trust in what God says and not off of their own perception of what they think is good and what they think is mighty. So faith isn't what you see, it's what you don't see. So I would even just encourage in this moment, when you pray for faith,

do not be surprised when God takes away tangible things that you could only experience in the natural, but he's going to give you a spiritual circumstance for you to trust and lean on him in. So then what is fear? Fear? Well, we know that God does not give us a spirit of fear according to second Timothy one seven.

So the spirit of fear is something that God does not give us, but God gives us instead power, love, and a sound mind. That's what this verse says. So fear, fear, literally incarcerates you from experiencing power, love, and a sound mind. So biblically, the Bible supports that fear is the absence of power, the absence of love, an absence of a sound mind.
