Because there's no opportunities to your liking or because you're fearful of the opportunity that God is granting you, even though it may not be of your liking. And when I talk about the... Because... Fear of embarrassment is the thief of opportunity.

So when we have a fear of being embarrassed and of disappointment and of failure, it robs us of us actually stepping out and pursuing the things of God in faith because we're convinced by unbelief that what fear says has to be true because we're so focused and have accumulated this poor assumption of what is unseen, essentially.

And so I could just go back to a lot of times where I didn't step forth in areas where God was calling me because there was a fear of failure and there was a fear of not being or feeling enough. And I think that stems from a lot of abandonment and neglection and betrayal that I've experienced in my life.

And when you allow your trauma to be the dictator of your life, it opens the door to its friend fear to then realize To where it then alters your understanding, your experience of what power is, and of you cultivating love.

And when God started to set me free from the fear of embarrassment, I started noticing that a lot of the opportunities that he was calling me to, there was a new confidence I was bringing to it because I trusted in what the Lord has said. And the thing about embarrassment is that you will truly never ever be embarrassed if you just truly believe what God has told you.

Like I said in the beginning of this episode, fear partners with unbelief. So when you're fearful, you're simultaneously saying, God, I don't believe you enough in this area. So I'm going to believe my own mind and my own brain in its poor assumption of what is unseen and unknown instead of believing in your provision and your kindness and in your promises. Fear partners with unbelief.

And I think sometimes we don't like to see that reality because it feels like we're far from God. But the more we're able to admit our condition and see where we're sick in the spirit of how fear is quite literally a disease in the body of Christ, our great physician God will be able to be invited into our disease and heal it because he is the redeemer and he's already conquered it on the cross.

So it's a matter of admitting your condition of God. I am fearful in these areas and it is causing me to believe a reality that isn't true because fear also is deceptive. I'm going so off my notes, but I just feel so Holy spirit.

So whenever we go to the garden of Eden in Genesis chapter three, it says now Satan was crafty then, or the serp, it says now the serpent was crafty than any of the animals the Lord God had made.
