If you are granting God responsibility over your finances, responsibility over your ministry or over your family or your relationships or your social media platform, whatever it may be over your job. And I think a lot of people are seeking the kingdom, not with the intention to actually partner with God and pursue the things of the kingdom, but but because they actually want the things that God has to offer. But there's a lack of a desire to want to partner with God. And my question is, why don't we want to partner with God?

And why is there not a desire to partner with the things and with who God is essentially, not even the things of God, but who God is as a whole? Like the reason as to why we live and breathe on this earth is one, to be loved by God. That's like, That's the number one thing he wants us for is for us to share a compassion with him and to to be used by God for his glory and for his kingdom.

And so what ways are we doing that in 2025? How are we seeing the heart of the father? How are we empathizing with him? How are we carrying out his will without selfish ambition? How are we being obedient to the things of God? Are we leaving our old lives behind? And are we carrying up our cross knowing that the destination is death?

Like we have to preach a self-denying gospel because that's all that God talks and writes about. Like this isn't a self-glorifying gospel. This is deny yourself. And I believe as we take steps, not even if it's into 2025, even if it's just tomorrow, because Lamentations 322 to 23 says that there are new mercies each and every single day. You have the opportunity to wake up new tomorrow.

That mercy is obtainable and that grace is obtainable and a new day is for you if you just believe it. A lot of people are living in their sin on repeat and on replay in their lives.

Because there's a part of them that doesn't believe that God wants to make them new. It's a matter of believing it and stepping into that place where God is wanting to restore you and redeem you. And it comes from belief.

And God could just accelerate us into this next season of our lives and this next season of 2025 if we just amped up our faith and if we amped up our belief system and God and our trust in him. And that comes through prayer. It comes through fasting. It comes from being in the word and soaking in his presence and just admiring all of who he is. Because Jesus is worth it. Jesus is so worth it.

And God could just accelerate us into this next season of our lives and this next season of 2025 if we just amped up our faith and if we amped up our belief system and God and our trust in him. I think one of the things that have been helping me with self-denial is to know that to live is Christ and to die is gain.
