We're not here for anybody else but you, God. So I thank you. And I could stand confident knowing that you're going to do a good thing in the hearts of your children. Equip me also, God. Give me the confidence to speak. God, I sacrifice to you this platform. It's not mine. It's yours. God, I put off any desire of the flesh, any part of my flesh that wants to become prideful or stand above God.

I just put it to the side. I repent of it. I actually put it to death now in Jesus' mighty name. I ask that you sharpen my tongue, that you bless my speech with gentleness and kindness, and that the Holy Spirit himself is what speaks through me. Let this be your will and not mine. And let your kingdom come and your will be done. In Jesus' mighty name, I seal this prayer. Amen.

I opened my eyes and forgot I was blinded by this big old light. Anyways, scriptures we're going to be reading today. We're going to be reading in, if you want to jot this down, Joel 2, Ezekiel 33, and maybe Isaiah 6. So I believe we're going to get into Isaiah 6. This is one of the only podcast episodes.

Usually I have an outline and I kind of have things I want to say and some sort of preparation. I felt the Holy Spirit of the Lord just tell me that He wanted me to flow and just be really authentic of what I've been learning and just take you through this beautiful ride of repentance in the Lord's restoration upon His people, even when we don't think we deserve it. My belief is that

My belief is that
the restoration is understanding the knowledge and wisdom of God's restoration will instill hope into those who are ready to give up and I specifically want to speak to those you know have been on the brink of life they're ready to throw in the towel they're ready to be done God is calling you higher. And God is calling you to come to his feet so he could lay his hands on you and heal you.

And that comes with a repentant heart. So, we're going to be reading in Joel 2. I'm going to start in... I'm going to start at the beginning of verse 2 and tell you what's happening. So, the prophet Joel, because all these books that we're going to be reading from today, or all these chapters and Bible verses, they're all prophets.

And so, we got Joel, we got the prophet Joel, we have the prophet of Ezekiel, and then we have the prophet of Isaiah. And so, what we're reading in this letter, in this documentation of the prophet Joel, is that Joel is telling the nation of Judah to prepare. And he describes it as the day of the Lord, judgment day, essentially.

It's a coming judgment and he's warning the people of Judah to prepare. And so the day of the Lord represents a time to when God will intervene with his people, with humans, right? intervene divinely with us. And so, Joel 2 is most known for the prophecy of the Holy Spirit being released.

And so, what we see through this scripture is that even though God's people was caught in rebellion and destruction and wickedness and lawlessness, God's intended response to his people is mercy. And mercy is extended when repentance is released from the mouths of those who have been in the cycles of iniquity. And so when God's judgment comes, you know, no human can resist it.

And so that's why the Bible says that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess. That's going to happen to everybody. Whether if you rock with God on this earth or not, I think the truth of the matter is how soon are you going to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord? and that He is the only one who could redeem you from your shackles and bondages of sin.
