This is just what the Lord has been telling me. And so I'm just going to be obedient and give it back onto his people.

And I think... Something that, you know, I think a lot of the times we can make a lot of podcasts, or even I can, just being self-reflective. Us as Christians can indulge in podcasts that are very calling out and specific and full of criticism.

When, if we just preach the gospel, and if we just preach the word of God, and if we listen intentively, that is what is going to give us all the answers instead of staying in a posture of criticism. That's just my thought. Dang, where is Isaiah? Isaiah, I cannot find you. There you is. Okay, let's go to Isaiah 6. This is him being called to become a prophet. Isaiah 6, where are we at? Cool.

So, this is Isaiah's commission whenever he's called to become a prophet. In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord high and exalted, seated on the throne, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above Him were seraphim, each with six wings. With two wings, they were covering their faces. With two, they covered their feet. And with the other two, they were flying.

They were calling to one another, Holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty. The whole earth is full of His glory. At the sound of their voices, the doorposts and thresholds shook the temple and was filled with smoke. Woe to me, I cried, I am ruined. For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips. And my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand. which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, See, this has touched your lips. Your guilt is taken away, and your sin is atoned for. Then I heard the voice of the Lord say, Whom among shall I send, and whom will go out for us? And I said, Here I am, send me. He said, Go and tell these people.

Be ever hearing, but never understanding. Be ever seeing, but never perceiving. Make the heart of this people callous. Make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed. And so the rest of this chapter is God giving Isaiah instruction. And so, why is this so important?

Why is this talk about healing? Why is this talk about restoration? Because when we see in this vision, before God can even call you and give you a mission and send you out into the next, you first have to stand in a posture of correction and repentance. And this is something that people do not like to hear. You want God to fulfill something in your ministry, in your calling and entrepreneurship.

But because you lack to repent of the things of God, He's not going to send you out. God will always posture you in humility before He has you carry out His will for other people. Will you do His will on your own first before He uses you to help fulfill somebody else's? Does that make sense? God first wants to humble His people before He sends them out.
