Third one, sin leads to death.
The wages of sin is death.
This is why in the Old Testament, you've seen so many animals get slaughtered the way that they did is because there was a price that needs to be paid with debt.
The moment that Adam and Eve had disobeyed the Lord in the Garden of Eden, and when God gave them the commandment to not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they actively disobeyed against God's commandment, which is crazy.
Caleb actually pointed this out on an Instagram post.
I was like, wow, I never even thought of that.
And it's like, you realize that
Adam and Eve, they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and they ate it when they could have just, like, God had been like, yo, like, there's a serpent there.
He's trying to have us eat the fruit.
But knowing that the moment that they ate from that fruit, it caused division between the human race and between God.
And all the way up until we see Jesus in the New Testament, we see humans trying to earn back their place with God, which is why Jesus was sent as the second Adam,
to be the final atonement of sins and even atonement isn't just a new testimonial term it's based in the old testament even there is a day of atonement where basically once a year um well hold on i gotta like go really far back if we're really gonna get the entirety of this is god's presence was always intended to rest with humans in the very beginning god walked with adam and eve
He was with Adam and Eve.
I don't have to add anymore.
I was trying to make that more poetic and beautiful.
