So you've got Egypt, you've got the Hittites up in Anatolia, modern day Turkey.

And then you've got the Cypriots as well, though they're a little bit more
minor as all part of the G8.
But then you've also got the vassal kings in Canaan at Megiddo, Hazor, Jerusalem, Beirut, Byblos, Tyre, Sidon.
And these are the ones that owe allegiance to Amenhotep III and Akhenaten.

You know, things don't change.
People have been fighting in that area of the world for thousands of years.
But I was following what Winkler and then Knudsen had suggested.
They were the first to separate these into the royal great letters.
There's about 50 of those between the great kings.
And then the letters from the vassal kings, there are about 300 of those.
So I was following the rather traditional layout that people have been doing for 100 years.
