What a crazy, awful run they've been on.

Well, this is, yeah, it gets really fun and certainly more optimistic than the baseball team right now.

The thing for the Vikings is on Thursday night, you could say, hey, they went with a safety.

Wouldn't surprise me.

I think, you know, Athenaman, McNeil, Allen, I'm sure in Kansas City, they've been bouncing all sorts of names with the spot you guys are in in Chiefs territory.

But if a Kenyan Sadiq, the Oregon tight end falls, that would be awesome.

This is a team full of needs.

And therefore, there's a handful of different routes.

Cornerback as well.

Several routes.

that this team could go and find a really good body at that spot.

And so with interim or acting general manager Rob Brzezinski, for him, I don't want to say there isn't pressure.

Let's get this draft right.

This is a team, again, that needs healthy, needs productive bodies via the draft, something we haven't really been able to say with any level of frequency in a number of years.

But optimism in terms of the draft, the ability to get a good player starting on Thursday night with pick 18, feeling very good about it.

To that end, safety and defensive tackle, I can tell you, have been two of the biggest talkers among Vikings fans and on our show on The Fan in Minneapolis.

Targeting one of those two spots earlier than later and potentially a pick 18, that's really been the focal point.

and really have driven a lot of the conversations around the draft for us.
