California Congressman Eric Swalwell, now the fourth Democratic official to face mortgage fraud allegations, according to new reporting from NBC News.
President Trump's top housing official, Bill Pulte, reportedly referred Swalwell, again according to NBC News, to the Justice Department for a possible federal criminal probe based on allegations of mortgage fraud and tax fraud related to a D.C.
residence, according to a person familiar with the referral who, again, spoke with NBC News.
