I was doing my Joe's Pub show and right before I go on stage, it's like a sold out crowd, I sort of called him in.

I was like, dad, can you help today be a success?

And the show goes off beautifully, without a hitch, every moment lands.

Everyone's like, that's the best show I've ever seen in my life.

It's like a perfect, perfect night.

I never feel more alive.

And then that night, I have the last dream with him.

He was in a lot of pain for like the last decade of his life, basically.

And all I remember for this dream was like it was after this like big success and specifically like this big creative success performing, which like as I mentioned, that was like he was always in the front row of every show.

That's when I felt his love the most clear.

So I had this dream where him and I were just like sitting on a couch talking and like laughing and smiling.

And he was completely free of pain.

Oh, that was the last real visit from him.

Yeah.
