You know, I'm an actor, right?

So I have a talent agent.

And I remember being really proud of myself.

At one time I noticed I was the youngest client they had.

And I was kind of proud of that.

And now often I'm the oldest person in the room.

You know, I did this movie Black Phone 2 and there's all these young people around and they're looking at me and talking to me as if I know something.

And I'm not positive that I do.

Yes.

I'm looking at myself and I'm saying, you have the second half of your life ahead of you.

If it's not for material gain, if I don't have a specific religious calling, what is it that I'm living it for?

The whole system of life is geared to make you think about success.

Often, doing my art the best and equating that with any kind of financial success are just wildly at odds with one another.

Some of the most successful things I've done have been some of the worst things I've done.

And sometimes I think that just playing life more beautifully is what I'm after, but I don't know how to do it.

Well, I don't know, what would you... I want to do it through acting, yeah.
