So when the media started putting out like, hey, Mets are making him available.

And they said he approached Andy Martino in a hallway and was like,

you put Verdugo over me in the Mets-Yankees combo of like the best player at every position.

And he like got in his face.

So he's like, he's not a fan of when his name gets floated out there for no reason.

So I think that was kind of the beginning of the end because it was like, all right, he might start getting disgruntled and then that's kind of pointless to have.

so then they make the trade.

It seems it is.

It definitely is offense for defense.

Cause Simeon's obviously going down defensively, but he, or offensively, but he want to go glove.

Brandon MMO is definitely the better hitter, but his glove is, he went from like potentially the Mets future center fielder, which is what they actually paid him for to become in like a left fielder.

That was kind of clogging up the left field spot, which Soto was clogging up the right field spot.

So they want a more flexibility there.

The one thing that does make no sense to me is these lineup predictions they put out in November where they're like, man, the Mets just traded Nimmo for Simeon, and now we got Roni Mauricio as our starting DH.
