But, I mean, that was a pretty good episode, and this one's kind of similar.
At that point, I realized that I was thinking about how to play games while I was not playing games, like when I was just walking around living life.
It's got it all.
And like I said, Barbie kind of pops up in the beginning.
She actually inspired action figures, like basically directly.
And I made a decision, a very fateful decision that I've never regretted, that I was going to give up video games because I was too addicted to them.
When Mattel, I think it was Ruth Handler who invented the Barbie doll, right?
This was college, and I never looked back.
Yes.
And when she and Mattel released it, it was just a huge, enormous hit.
Wow.
So you were into them, huh?
I was big time into them, yeah.
It was like this is, if it's reaching out from beyond the time I'm playing it, then yes, I was a little too into them if you ask me.
And one of the big reasons Barbie was, number one, such a hit, and number two, so appealing to toy companies, was that when you bought a Barbie, your buying experience wasn't over.
I was never a gamer or anything like that.
I just really enjoyed playing games, maybe a little too much.
There were always like more clothes and shoes and like my sister had the pool that you could hang out with and it had like a shower that actually worked.
In your favor, in your defense rather, I would say that I think everyone who's ever played Tetris has Tetris dreams and sees the world as Tetris boards occasionally if you're into it.
There's just a ton of extra stuff to buy.
