It's not possible for him to have created the noises that you hear, like, at the beginning of the case.
There's also points where, you know, people come to the house to sort of interview them and whatnot, the whole family is present in the room and the sounds come from within the table and then they jump to seemingly being in the wall or the wardrobe or something and then...
above them in the ceiling, and John is sitting right there, so how is it possible for him to be doing that?
And it's not just the house.
The noises follow Shirley to work.
They also follow the insurance investigator that comes to the house to look at the cause of the fire and things like that.
So unless John is capable of being in lots of different places at once and turning invisible and floating and or flying, I just don't see how it could be him.
And although I don't disagree that there are points in the case that feel human-made, for John to have done this...
over such a long period as well, and to be undetected by probably more than 50 people involved in the case is remarkable.
He's a criminal genius.
I think it's like we're playing Cluedo, and just because I know the least about the butler doesn't mean I think it's the butler.
That's brilliant.
I absolutely believe that when you go through the evidence in this case, some of it cannot be attributed to environmental or, you know, sort of physical aspects or people.
And therefore, to me, then I have to say, OK, well, this is paranormal.
And then we have to ask yourself, what is a ghost?
What is your answer for that?
You know, ghosts, it's something that survives past the physical body and then begins interacting.
And that's when we see these odd things that feel like magic and they feel inexplicable only because we're trying to look at them through too narrow a lens to traditional, a set of beliefs.
We're starting to look at whether or not consciousness is molecular.
And just by that, I mean that it's not localized to like a physical, you know, like part of the brain.
