I knew there was another Australian girl trying out as well, a girl from Japan.

Yeah, there was a few other international candidates, which was really cool to see and it made you feel like, okay, cool, I'm not just the only one that's crazy going after the stream.

This has always happened.

Just obviously when the Netflix show came out, there was no Australians or international candidates on the show that I'm aware of, but they have had previous years and I'm actually really good friends with an Aussie who was on the team back in 2016.

Her name's Janelle and she is incredible.

So she really helped me.

Janelle, yeah.

That's such an Aussie name, hey.

So no, she really helped me just keeping me like, is this normal, Janelle?

And she was like, yes, Faith, that's normal.

And like having an Aussie to talk to about the experience and the journey was really helpful.
