I mean, they try to tell you, but like I've been trained a certain way my whole life.

So going back now and reflecting on that video, I looked at it and I was like,

oh my gosh, Faith, what are you doing?

You're not kicking directly in front of your face because I was always trained to kick, you know, slightly turned out.

So I did the second round.

That was all fine and well.

And then I remember I was actually in Sydney, still auditioning for more.

I was still hustling.

I feel like I was like in the mindset of like, okay, keep your options open, Faith, because it's not guaranteed that this is going to fall into your lap.

So just keep auditioning.

So I was at another audition, auditioning for a musical when I came home that night to receive the video from Kelly, the director, saying that, congratulations, you are going to finals in Dallas, Texas.

Wow.

Yeah.

And then it sinked in.

I was like, okay, wait, this is actually a possibility right now.

Faith, like you need to like lock in what?

was a little bit in denial for sure but i do think deep down in my intuition i was like i could i could i could see the dream like it was almost like almost like manifestation you can picture yourself in the uniform you could picture yourself doing it but it's just like how how is that gonna happen like it just it couldn't it never really hit me until i was standing there trying it on i remember she was like fitting me for the uniform during tryouts and i was like

wait a damn minute like this needs to happen like i'm supposed to be here i earned my place to be here i've worked just as hard as everyone else so yeah i knew that it was definitely an option but i still definitely doubted myself a little bit as well but so then you fly to texas yes to do the tryout so this is now where the real deal happens finals how many girls are involved at this point
