It's a really interesting way of running that company.
We just don't read about it.
And I can well imagine that the CEOs themselves are actually quite happy not to be in the spotlight because it must be incredibly distracting.
Right.
But seen from the point of view of the business media, it's mildly puzzling that we go for the flashy thing when in fact there's so many interesting things to report.
The one observation that gives me a little hesitation is if I would see among the people who are in the quote-unquote pro-democracy camp a real support of democracy.
Right.
As opposed to it just so happens that the rules that come with democracy favor my group a little more.
And maybe the best manifestation that I can think of is gerrymandering in the United States.
Right.
So obviously, Democrats will endlessly complain about Republican efforts to discourage voting.
And if I knew it comes from a place where they really care about turnout, turnout is just good for democracy.
And if we could, we wanted everybody to vote.
Instead, you see in places where the Democrats are completely in control, like New York, they do the worst kind of gerrymander that you can possibly imagine.
So it's not really buying into democracy.
It's just right now, the forces are aligned in a way that democracy is good for me.
And so I like democracy, which is exactly what I fear the most about authoritarianism.
I think that's right.
