I think it's fair to say you and I both have all-in mentality, Spencer.
And could probably do ourselves some damage with those mentalities.
So I think that's where, for me...
marathons bring out the worst in me with that, which is why I found so much value from not being as metric focused other than unless it's exciting to me personally.
So obviously all of those sort of hybrid in the same day things I've listed are very metric driven.

It's not a rhyme.
it's just a neat pairing of numbers make it a neat pairing of numbers yeah so probably sub 250 and I mean my argument would be a 250 kilo deadlift because it's much more opposed
Hybrid training is about balancing opposing disciplines.
And therefore, training for bench and a marathon concurrently, you're basically just a bro that doesn't train legs.
That's all you've done there.
Chip time is the caveat for the marathon, isn't it?

I would therefore argue that the bench press should be to powerlifting standards, calibrated plates...
proper standardized powerlifting bench, start command, pause command, press command, etc.
Does that mean that somebody tells you when to press each rep?
It does, yeah.
So do you hold it on your chest?
